

Aurora Tracy
Aurora is a compassionate student who is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Neuroscience at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Robyn McQuaid. Her project is exploring how inflammation and stress contribute to depressive symptoms in an attempt to inform more personalized treatment approaches.
Aurora received her Bachelor of Science Combined Honours in Neuroscience and Biology at Carleton University. In her 4th year, Aurora completed her Honours thesis with Dr. McQuaid by investigating the relation between inflammation and depressive symptoms, and how early life trauma may moderate this relationship.

Besides academics, Aurora is currently working as a Neuroscience Workshop Facilitator and Facilitator Team Lead for the Enriched Support Program (ESP) at Carleton University. She is also a Peer Reviewer for the Carleton Undergraduate Journal of Science (CUJS).​
​
Outside of school, Aurora loves skiing, hiking and reading.
