She also received her Bachelor of Science Honours in Neuroscience and Mental Health with a Minor in Psychology at Carleton University. In her 4th year, Ally completed her Honours thesis with Dr. Matthew Holahan by investigating a novel alpha-synuclein-binding aptamer for treating Parkinson's disease.

Outside of work, Ally is a Volunteer Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone.

In her free time, you can find Ally at the gym, reading, or spending time with her pet bunny, Pierogi.
